Busher Jackson was a big star almost immediately upon his entry into the NHL who unfortunately fell prey to the excesses that fame and fortune can present at such a young age. At 21, he won a Stanley Cup in Toronto, part of the famed "Kid Line" with fellow HOFers Charlie Conacher and Joe Primeau. By the age of 26 he was already a four-time first-team all-star (and one second team nod) yet entering his decline as a result of excessive drinking and party lifestyle. He would play until 1944 but his status as a star in the game was but a distant memory. His lifestyle choices also led to him being blacklisted for entry into the Hall of Fame. Finally he would join his linemates in the Hall in 1971. Graded 3.5 VG+ by SGC.
