1941 Chang Jang frame and sidecar and handlebars and tank. Mao Tsa Tung acquired the factory from Stalin in a wheat deal, who got the factory when the Germans retreated from Russians . The factory was actually, and still is, a BMW factory - so these parts are BMW. THIS LOT IS LOCATED AT 2306 MADISON AVE, BURNABY.
We have papers. Needs minor repair..
The front end has been modified to fit a 1969-1973 moto guzzi front end - also has alloy rims and stainless spokes. The motor is replaced and modified with an R75/5 BMW motor - roughly from 1975. The bell housing of motor is modified to fit the 1941 transmission that is reversible, that was also a Chang Jang.
The transmission and rear end were modified to fit Moto Guzzi rear drive-alloy rims. Sandblasted and newly custom powder coat - army matt green. Comes with a few extra parts. 90% wired. Seat in great shape . Everything has been redone by one of the best vintage mechanics in BC - passed during covid. Side car has been toed in correctly. After the completion of the auction, the credit card on file of the successful bidders will be charged automatically and bidders will be emailed an invoice.
