HOFer Edouard "Newsy" Lalonde was a two-sport superstar, both in hockey and lacrosse, and and HOFer in both sports. He was a prolific scorer and a rough player in the pre-NHL days and into the early years of the NHL. He plied his trade for many teams in many leagues, going where they could afford to pay for his talent. In his 297 games split between the major leagues of the time (NHA, WCHL, PCHL and NHL) he scored an amazing 660 points, including 363 goals.

Amazingly he was an even bigger star in lacrosse, scoring an identical 363 goals (in only 205 games) and during a ten-season period from 1910 through 1918 he would lead the league in goals eight of the nine seasons. He won a Stanley Cup with Montreal where he played 11 seasons (he also scored the franchise's first goal in the NHL) and three Minto Cups in lacrosse.

This photo features him in street clothes, looking a lot like a Chicago gangster. He was retired as an active player at this point, all though he did coach for many years. Grading GD to VG, with typical edgewear, wrinkling, light creasing, and blunted corners.
