1902 Colt U.S. Military issue Philippine (erroneously named Alaskan) DA .45 caliber revolver, Serial #46787. Inspected by R.A.C. and J.T.T. with approximately 30-60% of the original blue remains with scattered light to moderate pitting. The hard rubber grips are good with minor edge wear. The action is working but lock up is a bit “wobbly”. Good bore and markings. One of a group identified by the oversize trigger guard that protected the enlarged trigger that was designed to allow more bearing surface and greater fulcrum to detonate military primers.
