Remington 1st series Elliot patent double derringer with side address reading “Manufactured by E. Remington & Sons Ilion N.Y.” and “Elliots patent Dec 12 1866” on the reverse. No extractor. Good plus original condition with traces of blue going to patina and some good colors on the hammer and latch. Good rosewood grips with honest wear. The bores are rough. Unbroken hinge. Just honest wear and normal aging. The key variation with very few known. Dr. Rudy Johnson collection who co-authored the definitive book on this model. (Antique) Est.: $3500-$7000
