Winchester model 1873 special order full nickel rifle, .22 short caliber, 24” octagon barrel, full mag, rifle butt, serial #428666. The rifle retains 40-60% original nickel, evenly drifting and toning, and areas where nickel has lifted shows a dark patina with no polishing. Some erosion and pitting just starting in these areas where the metal is exposed. The barrel address is sharp, the edges are crisp, the stock is good with some dings, mars, wear at the edges, a couple of gouges, and some normal wear. The caliber and model markings are good. Action is good, bore rough, original magazine tube is retained. Extractor missing, otherwise complete. The only full factory nickel .22 we have cataloged in over 30 years of firearms auctions, possibly made for a gallery or wild west show. Est: $3,500 - $7,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
