Winchester 1st Model 1873 rifle with Special order 30” round barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, .44-40 cal., #29338 with factory letter confirming barrel length and shipping date. The barrel retains 80-90% toning blue finishwell matching to the magazine tube; frame shows strong traces of blue within grey brown patina; good wood with normal age and imperfections; correct “thumbprint” style dust cover with good address and markings;action good, bore very good; correct sights, some bright blue on loading gate; some minor pin prick pitting scattered on frame. Special order 1st models are always desirable and very few early ‘73’s are extra long over 28”. Est.: $6,000-$12,000.

Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
