The carbine has a clip loaded, fixed magazine with detachable floor plate (absent from lot), 300 meter tangent rear sight and dovetail mounted steel front sight blade. Most of the barrel is covered by a full-length, walnut handguard that extends to within one inch of the muzzle. The carbine has a high comb walnut stock with checkered pistol grip and black serrated hard rubber buttplate. The handguard and stock have an oil finish. The carbine receiver and barrel have a commercial, rust blue finish. The bolt is bright and the small parts have a straw finish. The only visible markings on the carbine are "Crown/N" commercial proof marks on the left side of the receiver and bolt. The magazine catch is unique to this weapon and differs from other Mannlicher Carbines writer has veiwed in that it has a knurled button on right side of frame.
