This is an original Harvey Rattey bronze sculpture titled "The Hard Choice". Harvey Rattey was a Montana artist, born and raised in Chinook. His love of the West and the ranching lifestyle led to a successful career in art. Together with his wife, they opened a bronze casting foundry in Bozeman. In addition, Rattey was an enrolled member of the Little Shell Band of the Chippewa Tribe. This bronze sculpture shows three trophy mule deer bucks. The piece shows fine detail and incredible artistic talent. The bronze sits on a solid walnut hardwood base with a brass placard that reads "The Hard Choice © Harvey Rattey 1993". The bronze has been signed by the artist and is numbered 4/300. The Harvey Rattey bronze is in very good condition. It measures 2.5" x 12" and is 6.5" tall.
