Napoleonic era flintlock powder tester, made in the design of a small pistol, with nicely checkered wooden grips showing “AF” and crown proof, possibly Francotte of Liege. The tester measures 7” from end to end, issimilar in design to pocket pistol of the 1800-1820 era. The condition is very good with some minor erosion and pinprick pitting. Nice engraved frame, graduations on wheel are stamped. The wooden grips are nicelycheckered and carved. From the Keith Coulter collection. Est: $750 - $1,500
