Eight mounted photographs of Kiowa Indians by Overstreet, Chickasha, I. T. Photo cards measure 9” x 7”, with 6 ½" x 4 ¼" images:
a) Mounted man with feather headdress and shield, woman on horseback in the background; b) Woman seated in front of a lodge wearing a fringed cape and fancy dress; c) Woman in elk tooth dress, silver drop belt, and high-top moccasins; d) Well-dressed man with hair drops, beaded leggings and fringed shoes; e) Camp scene showing 8 lodges, wagons, and people; f) Woman with child seated along the river; g) Group of children seated in front of wagons and holding a fine toy cradle. Pencil title verso: “Little Kiowa kids in every day dress”; h) Labeled "Kiowa Papoose" a beautiful child dressed in an amazing elk tooth dress and accessories.
Cards are identical, but only one bears the Overstreet mark.
