L. C. Smith Specialty Grade 12 gauge Trap stocked shotgun, 30" barrels, double triggers, auto ejectors, non-ventilated rib, high rise comb, serial #218329. The right barrel is choked improved modified tomodified, the left barrel is choked full to improved modified. The barrels retain 90-95% original blue drifting on the edges and muzzle, some minor spots and normal aging. The frame shows good quality engraving,matching the rear of the barrels with small panels of game birds on each side. The frame shows 60-75% case hardening, drifting to a light silvery patina, with still some good colors. The stocks show crisp checkering,most of the original varnish, and some scratches, dings and mars. The stock is fitted with an old possibly factory fitted Hy-gun pad with the last patent date 1927. The stock measures 14-1/4" to the end of thewood, 15-1/4" to the end of the pad. The gun locks tight, the bores are bright and near excellent. An interesting L. C. Smith that may be a sleeper for the collector and should be researched. Est.: $1,500-$3,000
