Jambiya Dagger with Engraving and Gold Washed Hilt and Sheath
Curved double fuller blade, measuring 10 1/4" long and 1 5/8" wide at the base, with 2" tall gold bordered scenes of a mountain lion assaulting a prey animal on each side of the ricasso. The grip is deeply engraved and gold washed, showing a pair of birds, a man in fancy headdress, a woman, and a running rabbit on each side, with floral and punch dot borders, and a floral bloom on the pommel. Similar decoration is present on the sheath, with 2 birds, man in headdress, rabbit, flower, woman, a bird and another flower engraved down the center of each side. OAL: 15".

Condition: Fine. The blade shows light spotting, minor sharpening marks, and a smooth gray patina with traces of brown. Sheath and hilt are both excellent, with minor dents and cracks on the pommel and over 90% of the original gold, with wear concentrated along the high edges.
