Interesting oddity Reform-style BAR pistol with O/U barrel, concealed hammer, blued finish, checkered hard rubber grips, #3149. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx. 97% original finish, finebores, crisp action, folding trigger, fine grips. The firing mechanism of this gun is unique in that the flat “cylinder” swivels and allows for the loading of four 6.35mm caliber rounds with the trigger actuating the firing pin in the frame to fire one round first and then the other with a second pull of the trigger; the “cylinder” can then be swiveled and another two shots accomplished. The top of the barrel assembly is marked “Bar Pistol” and the sides of the “cylinder” are marked “Deutschland 983832, PATENT, Belgien 134215” and “England 11998, Russland, Nord Amerika”. Est.: $750-$1,500.
