As previously stated, the book is a 3rd edition and is in soft cover. In the back is a pull-out map of the U.S. and a detail map of the Black Hills. The book shows very good condition overall, though it has been previously repaired. It measures 4 3/4" x 7 1/4". Title in French, "Dans Les Montagnes Rocheuses". The map is marked, “CARTE DES BLACK HILLS DU DAKOTA” at the top, “Grave par L. Sonnet 99, Bd. St. Germain” on the left, “Lib. E. PLON, NOURRIT et Cie. Edit.” in the center and “Paris Imp. Becquet.” on the right. Translated the map is marked, “Map of Black Hills of Dakota” at the top.
