French 1851 dated heavy Cavalry sword by Chateau Lerault Arsenal with scabbard, in "as found" condition, with broken guard that appears to be hit by shrapnel. The blade remarkably good, deep patina, wire unraveling on grip. Found in old family from Alabama's estate and just the type and time period of the Civil War. An imported battle relic. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
