Flintlock Musketoon with Fencible style heavy brass butt with lock marked “A. Baker” and barrel marked “C.T. Little” along with American style “P” proof mark. Large “M” inspection an L.H. Simple American stylingwith No 67 engraved on brass lock plate. Very good “out of the attic” condition with dark brown patina, good wood with military storage type marks and dings. Chip of wood missing along the top rear edge of the lock plate.Action works well and original flintlock parts. Correct to the period load rod. Missing rear swivel. 43” overall with a 27 1/2” barrel of 69 caliber smoothbore. We could find no reference on this sea servicestyle Musketoon but the butt is similar to American Marine issue Fencible Muskets. Probably a state or Merchant Marine purchase. Should be researched further. Est: $750-$1,500

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
