European flintlock military pistol, .69 caliber smoothbore, iron mounts, lock shows “AN” intertwined initials with “2”. The metal surfaces are in good condition showing some scattered pitting and erosion. The stockshave been lightly coated with lacquer or clear varnish and show some small losses, some damage around sideplate, but generally good. The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration. The pistol is generally goodoverall. We have not identified the country of origin. Possibly Portuguese or Italian, and is similar in design to French pistols of the 1790-1800 era. Est: $500 - $1,000
