This Crow Native American Indian artifact features an Indian tanned hide with excellent glass trade seed beadwork throughout. The circa late 19th early to mid-20th piece would have adorned a 19th century Crow Pipe Tomahawk. The piece shows a red trade cloth backing with early trade glass seed beads in chalk white, Cheyenne pink, sky blue, black, and red. The drop also has long hide fringe. Provenance: From the personal collection of renowned collector and foremost expert on war clubs and tomahawks, Mark Francis. The Francis collection piece has been authenticated and verified. The beaded drop measures 3.5" x 12.5".
