Colt Bisley .32 W.C.F. SN: 318978
'First Generation' Vintage single action six-shot revolver chambered in .32-20 Winchester, manufactured circa 1911. Introduced in 1894, the Colt Bisley was marketed as a target revolver and was named after the Bisley shooting range in England. Features an old blued refinish, 4 3/4" barrel with no visible address, blade front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, ejector rod(missing thumb piece), smooth wide trigger, knurled wide low-profile hammer spur, fluted cylinder, and custom two-piece smooth wood grips. Serial numbers match on the frame, triggerguard and backstrap. The caliber designation on the barrel has been hand stamped. Revolver exhibits less than 10% of it's blued refinish with the majority of the metal surfaces turned to an aged grey/brown patina. When the hammer is cocked surface rust is visible on the hammer and on the inside of the frame. Action is strong with four clicks & very good lock-up, the bore is bright with some scattered light pitting, markings on the frame are mostly legible and the wood grips are good.
Condition is near NRA Good as refinished.
