Colt 1911 Government model, .45 ACP caliber, US Property marked and issued, wood finish, checkered wood medallion grips, serial #52841, made approx. 1913. The Colt retains approx. 70-80% evenly thinning and toningoriginal blue finish drifting to patina with some scattered erosion and surface pitting. The slide and barrel are of a WWI vintage, possibly arsenal changed. The grips are good, markings good, bore very good. Shows anearly lanyard bottom magazine with 50% thinning blue. The slide and frame appear to have been together for many years as a match in condition. Shows GSP inspection on frame. Dr. Sterling Fenn collection. Est: $1,200 -2400
