Featured in this lot for bidding is an antique miners gambling game, originating from Butte, Montana circa 1939. The game is based on a wooden board, constructed of three slabs, connected by box joints. The game uses a spinning peg wheel, with an arrow on the top, and a tension spring on the bottom. Crank the wheel, and the board rattles with a satisfying tick. The arrow on the top either selects red or black. The board is etched with "NOV. 19 39", and has a faint name painted on the bottom right hand corner. The game is in good condition overall, it is missing two of its original pegs. The game measures 20 1/4" tall, 14 3/4" wide, and approximately 3" deep.
