From the favorite classic early television national children's show "Bozo the Clown" (1959-1964) is an original iconic handmade "Bozo The Clown" costume. This amazing screen worn costume was used on television in 1959 and is very rare as it was worn by one of the only female "Bozo The Clown's". This signature costume includes the full clown blue and green two piece costume with zipper and ties up the front. Features " Bozo" on the cuff of each sleeve, an attached collar with snap button pom pom on the front clown top and matching pants and the infamous original large leather lace up the front clown shoes with hand painted "BO" and "ZO" on the bottom of each shoe! The wig and mask is a replica to accompany the costume.

"Bozo The Clown" is known worldwide as "The World's Most Famous Clown". Between 1959 to 1964, "Bozo The Clown" was a franchised television show. Each station received an individual Bozo costume and was responsible for hiring their own cast. This costume was the one used on air at KRON-TV in San Francisco until 1964, when Larry Harmon bought the rights to Bozo and the show was syndicated.
