Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .45 Colt caliber with a 5 ½” barrel, originally shipped blue to Hartley & Graham, New York, N.Y. on April 12, 1884 with 6 guns in shipment and no stocks on gun with factory Lot Title letter. This Colt shows star on the trigger guard indicating factory return as well as on straps and inside the loading gate. The caliber was factory re-marked along with Rampant Colt at the time of factory refinish Lot Title in our opinion.90%-95% factory refinish remains with some loss at the muzzle and the front of the cylinder. The authentic to the period carved ivory grips show desirable high relief Mexican snake and eagles on the right Lot Title side. The grips fit well but slightly loose on the spacer with small losses at the heel and toe. The carving has some edge wear from carry and normal aging. All matching. Good action and good bore. Found in Mexico by Lee Lot Title Silva known author and early collector. (Antique) Est.: $3500-$7000
