18AP-9 51 BREVETTEBrevette of a Colt 1851 Navy percussion revolver by Ronge, Serial #104637. The Belgian made pistol is in good overall condition with a 7 ¼” octagon barrel with a brass post front sight. The pistol isentirely grey patina with some remnants of light scroll engraving. The barrel address is marked, “MANUFACTURED BY RONGE”. There is light surface rust on the top of the barrel and on the cylinder. The cylinder scene isgone and all visible serial numbers are matching with the frame number partially obliterated. The smooth bone grips are in good condition, fit well and look good with the pistol. The bore is fair, the actionfunctions and most markings are legible. The lot includes a nice, period leather double loop holster in good condition. Est.: $300-$600.
